Day
1: Zurich - Zermatt
On arrival Zurich, take your train to Zermatt a municipality
in the district of Visp in the German-speaking section of the canton of Valais
in Switzerland which is famed as a mountaineering and ski resort of the Swiss
Alps. This is a car free village and you could only see horse drawn carriages
and electric cars. Check into the hotel and relax for the day. Overnight stay at your hotel, Zermatt

02: Zermatt - Matterhorn

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel. Today proceed for
a day excursion to Matterhorn by cogwheel
railway up to the Gornergrat. Enjoy the superb panoramic view of the
Matterhorn- a mountain in the Pennine Alps on the border between Switzerland
and Italy, Mont Blanc and other snow-capped peaks rising to above 4000 m/13'000
ft. The Matterhorn is an iconic emblem of the Alps in general. Return back to Hotel and overnight stay at
your hotel, Zermatt .
Day 03: Zermatt - Interlaken
After breakfast, make your way to Interlaken via Brig and Spiez.
Interlaken, one of the oldest and most popular tourist destinations in
Switzerland, lies in the
Bernese Oberland on an alluvial plain, between Lakes Thun and Lake Brienz. Spend your time stroll
past the Hoheweg - a 700-meter long boulevard with its quaint cafés, souvenir
shops and designer boutiques. Overnight stay at your hotel in Interlaken.
Day 04: Interlaken
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Today relax at the
hotel or go for an optional tour of
Jungfraujoch-Top of Europe which is around 3454 metres above sea level.
It is the highest railway station in Europe. Visit the Ice Palace and Sphinx
Terraces offering spectacular views of the Aletsch Glacier- the longest glacier
in the Alps. Overnight
stay at your hotel in Interlaken.
Day 05: Interlaken - Lucerne
Today, after breakfast take your train from
Interlaken to the city of lights- Lucerne, a
picturesque city located at Lake Lucerne, where you can see Lowendenkmal- Lion
Monument, built in memory of the loyal Swiss guards. Check into the hotel;
relax, then proceed to visit the Swiss
Transport Museum , IMAX Theatre ,Chapel
Bridge and the Spreuerbrucke- traditional wooden bridges of Lucerne. Overnight stay at your hotel, Lucerne.
Day
06: Lucerne - Mt. Pilatus - Lucerne
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Then proceed for an
excursion to Pilatus - The Dragon Mountain which is closer to your stay. The
top can be reached with the Pilatus Railway, the worlds steepest cogwheel
railway from Alpnachstad which is
operating from May to November (depending on snow conditions). In winter
you can go by aerial panorama gondolas and aerial cableways from Kriens which
is operational every day. Return back to your hotel and relax for the day or go
for a shopping . Overnight

07: Lucerne - Zurich
After breakfast , today take a train journey (50
min) to Zurich- the largest city of the Swiss Confederation. Its history goes
back to its founding by the Romans dating back more than 6400 years ago. Zurich
is a leading global city and houses large number of financial institutions and
banking giants. Check into the hotel then visit the Swiss National Museum , historical
Limmatquai, St. Peter's church with the largest clock-face in Europe and many
more. Overnight stay at your
hotel, Zurich
Day 08: Leave
Zurich
After
breakfast, check-out of your hotel and you will be dropped at the
Zurich airport for your return journey.
