01: Bangalore - Humpi
Arrive Bangalore airport/railway station and drive to Humpi - the former capital of Vijayanagara Empire . It is situated on the banks of Tungabhadra river and is an important historic and architectural site. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site now. Check into the hotel and relax for the day.
Day 02: Humpi
Today proceed for a full day sightseeing of Humpi. Visit Virupaksha Temple- the oldest and the principal temple in Hampi., Kings Palace, Vithala Temple, Hazara Rama Temple Comple , Krishna temple, Tungabhadra Dam, Pushkarni, Queens Bath, Elephant stables, Anegundi and watch Sound and Light show at Lotus Mahal. Overnight stay the hotel.
Day 03: Humpi- Mantralayam - Kurnool
Today morning drive to Mantralayam. It is a small village is widely known for the tomb of the Madhwa Saint Sri Raghavendra swamy. Visit Raghavendra Swamy Temple which is a 300 years old temple, Panchamukha Anjaneyaswamy Temple. After the darshan and proceed to Kurnool. Check into the hotel. Evening visit Jogulambha Temple at Alampur and back to Kurnool. Overnight stay the hotel.
Day 04: Kurnool Ahobilam
Today proceed to Ahobhilam. Visit Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple, a 16th century old temple where all the nine forms of Lord Narasimha are worshipped. According to legends it is believed that the manifestation of Lord Vishnu as half-lion, half-man (Lord Narasimha)blessed 'Prahlada' and killed the demon Hiranyakashipa. Overnight stay the hotel.
Day 05: Ahobhilam Mahanandi
Today morning drive to Mahanandi. Visit Mahanandishwara temple - The world famous 1500 years old ancient temple which is surrounded by dense (Nallamala) forest. This temple is famous for its stunning architecture and for many rituals that are held during the auspicious day of Maha Shivaratri. Return back to hotel and overnight stay the hotel
Day 06: Leave Mahanandi
